nice to meet you

My name is Leah, and I am the heart behind wild womb.

This work is deeply personal to me. It was not simply a career path I chose, but one I was gently led toward through my own journey into motherhood.

Becoming a mother transformed me in ways I never expected. Through both the beauty and challenges of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, I came to understand how deeply women deserve to be supported, nurtured, and truly held during this sacred transition. That experience awakened something within me — a calling to walk alongside other women as they move through their own journeys into motherhood. Wild womb was born from that place.

I am a certified Birth & Postpartum Doula through Doula School Canada, a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist through Alberta Health Services and the University of Calgary, as well as a Holistic Fertility Awareness Educator. My approach weaves together evidence-based education, lived experience, and intuitive, holistic care — supporting women in a way that feels grounded, compassionate, and deeply personal.

I believe motherhood is not something to be perfected, but experienced. My role is never to tell you what to do, but to walk beside you — helping you feel informed, supported, and connected to your body, your instincts, and your own inner knowing.

I am passionate about creating spaces where women feel safe to ask questions, soften into their experience, and trust themselves fully. Whether you are preparing to conceive, navigating pregnancy, moving through birth, or settling into postpartum, my intention is always the same: that you feel seen, respected, empowered, and never alone.

Outside of this work, you can usually find me outdoors with my young son and our dog Luna, soaking in the beauty of slow living, fresh air, and the foothills. Nature, motherhood, and connection continue to shape not only who I am, but the way I hold and support others through this work.

Wild Womb is a space built from lived experience, deep care, and a genuine love for supporting women through one of the most transformative season of their life.
